Stansbury, the place to be by the sea……….especially on
a
market day.........
The Stansbury Seaside Markets was the first of its kind
within the Yorke Peninsula region and still today it is
able to offer a country style market along the foreshore
in Stansbury.
The markets run on a Saturday morning from 9.00 am –
2.00 pm commencing each year on the October Long Weekend
and run through to Easter the following year. The
markets operate each Long Weekend throughout that period
and on average run once a month.

A visit to the award winning Stansbury Seaside Markets
is a great family day out with free admission and car
parking including plenty of stalls to browse
incorporating a great range of products to suit all
ages. Selections include local produce, home made baked
goods, art works, gifts, crafts, jewellery, fashion and
plenty of hot and cold food and drinks.
Come and try the free samples of local emu oil and
excite your taste buds with confectionery, nuts, dips,
sauces, dairy products and wines.
Celebrations for New Year’s Eve 2013 kicks off at 12.00
pm with the twilight market, which runs through to 8.00
pm, offering a selection of hot and cold food and drinks
to keep you going throughout the day and into the
evening. The twilight market is a real family event with
jeep car rides, lucky dips and face painting for the
kids and plenty of stalls to browse including children’s
toys, tools, arts and crafts, local produce, plants and
much more! Bring along a picnic rug and set yourself up
along the foreshore in time for the amazing display of
fireworks at 10.00 pm.

Information Centre stand for all your needs to explore
the beautiful Yorke Peninsula or you may like to buy
some Stansbury memorabilia, just follow your nose we are
located next the Stansbury Museum sausage sizzle.
