The Stansbury Seaside Markets was the first of its kind within the Yorke Peninsula region and still today it is able to offer a country style market along the foreshore in Stansbury. 

The markets run on a Saturday morning from 9.00 am – 2.00 pm commencing each year on the October Long Weekend and run through to the following April.  The markets operate each Long Weekend throughout that period and on average run once a month.  Click here for current dates

This relaxing seaside town springs into life early morning transforming the Stansbury foreshore into a vibrant location for shoppers looking for something a bit different.  Buy fresh produce, hot and cold food and drinks, art works, gifts, crafts, jewellery and fashion all fostering local talent.  Come enjoy a great morning out browsing for a bargain or talk to the supplier direct about their home made goodies and home grown produce. 

Be sure to visit the Southern Yorke Peninsula Visitor Information Centre stand for all your needs to explore the wonderful Yorke Peninsula or you may like to buy some Stansbury memorabilia, just follow your nose we are located next the Stansbury Museum sausage sizzle.

When you have ‘shopped till you drop’ find a shady spot and enjoy the beautiful view of Oyster Bay while you soak up the atmosphere of our relaxing country style market.

Celebrations for New Year’s Eve 2011 kicks off at 2.00 pm with the twilight market, which runs through to 8.00 pm, offering a selection of hot and cold food and drinks to keep you going throughout the day and into the evening.  The twilight market is a real family event with jeep car rides and face painting for the kids and plenty of stalls to browse including children’s toys, tools, arts and crafts, local produce and much more !  Bring along a picnic rug and set yourself up along the foreshore in time for the amazing display of fireworks at 10.00 pm.

On Sunday 22 April 2012 there is a special market planned to celebrate the Yorke Peninsula’s Saltwater Classic.  The market will commence at 9.00 am on the foreshore with several events taking place on the water.  There will be classic cars and vintage caravans and machinery on display.
